Michael Burns, Attorney at Law

Mr. Burns currently represents small and large businesses, banking and lending institutions in the areas of foreclosure, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and eviction matters for the States of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Mr. Burns also serves as the Fee Attorney for a Texas title company with the capacity to issue state-wide title products and title insurance policies, with underwriters such as Lawyers Title Insurance (a subsidiary of Fidelity National Title Insurance), Title Resources Guaranty, Old Republic National Title, Alliant National Title Insurance, as well as handle the closing transactions of the REO properties upon conclusion of the foreclosure. Mr. Burns’ focus is on overall timeline compliance and investor satisfaction. Offering “cradle to grave” service, Mr. Burns provides his clients the complete default servicing operation. His professional experience also includes a number of years as Senior Counsel for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
